Bang On Graphics were awarded this enviable contract for all of the Organiser Signage requirements for this very large biannual show that runs in London Docklands at the Excel Centre.
This is the 6th time in succession Bang On have worked on this leading Defence Industry Show.
This event uses the whole of the Excel Venue including all the outside space and docks and had significant operational challenges due to the high security required. The docks were used to host 7 HMS ships and the dock side 3 RAF helicopters, along with other large weaponry.
Our remit began 1 week prior to the show by providing and installing all of the necessary Security, Health & Safety Signage across the site from gate access signs through to large freestanding entry instruction boards all designed by us to follow an agreed show style.
The contract included designing, production and fitting of all the bespoke graphics for all the event feature areas both inside and out, various large seminar theatres and Event Registration Entry points. This required working hand in hand with the build contractor across these 40 plus areas, all done to a tight time schedule.
All the theatre areas required a unique solution to be able maintain the look and feel of an enclosed space but to have the ability to be opened up when the need arose to accommodate more delegates. We achieved this by making and installing lightweight screens that could be easily removed and re-fitted when required.
Our contract included all of the general directional show signage along with fulfilment of all the sponsorship elements sold to exhibitors, involving hanging banners, very large floor graphics and 12 supersized freestanding “You Are Here” maps of the entire site. These floorplans were printed and installed with two days notice, hence allowing for all of the inevitable onsite changes to be included.
